The logo of Facebook's parent company Meta is too similar to its own, according to Dfinity, the creator of the Internet computer blockchain.
When Web2 social networking giant Facebook changed its name to Meta, it seemed unable to run the new logo designed by Web3 player Dfinity.
Swiss Internet computer blockchain developer Dfinity Foundation has filed another trademark infringement lawsuit against Meta in U.S. District Court, arguing that the latter's circular logo is too similar to Dfinity's infinity symbol.
"Meta and Dfinity aspire to appeal to the same people, namely those who are looking for original and new user experiences, built by users, for users," Dfinity said in the April 29 lawsuit.
